Apple announced that the size limit of application submitted through its iTunes Connect platform can now be up to 4GB in size, doubling the standard 2GB restriction.
The update will allow developers to have more space to use media and enrich users’ experience specially when it comes to games. The previous 2GB limitation has prevented some games from being available on the App Store, such as Final Fantasy VII.
The limit of downloads over a cellular connection is still limited to 100MB.
