When we reviewed the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3, we were very impressed with its overall performance, functionality, and design form. It certainly is one of the best budget phones out there, but as a budget phone it did suffer some performance issues.
Alcatel will be releasing an update to address some of the performance issues, as well as enhancements to the camera. In addition, a new and welcome functionality will be added: double-tap to unlock. Look forward to it as an OTA update in the coming days.
