Airbus just made a promise that its next plane, the A330 Neo, will bring 3D movies into the sky.
The company said that it will be taking the in-flight entertainment system into the 21st century, equipping it with 3D movies capabilities, WiFi, mobile connectivity and HD video.
The A330 Neo is an upgrade for the twin-aisle, 250-300 seat A330. The new model will reduce fuel consumption by 14 per cent per seat made possible thanks to the Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engine, new aerodynamics and technologies.
The A330 Neo will start flying in late 2017.
