Acer was awarded the Best Customer Promotion Award for its Acer Nitro Gaming Competition during the DISTREE Middle East Awards Ceremony on May 12 at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Abu Dhabi.
The Acer V Nitro competition stood out among other nominees, which included both vendors and retailers, for engaging customers both online and offline in promoting the Acer Aspire V Nitro at Jumbo Electronics during Dubai Shopping Festival. Acer organized a mega gaming competition that delivered the message on ‘Push Your Limits’. Enthusiasts were given the option to register online and were assigned time slots to visit Jumbo and play on Nitro – across multiple rounds, qualifiers and finals, one lucky winner was chosen – and they walked away with the Aspire V Nitro. Over the two week activation, Acer had 1,000 online registrations, and over 500 participants battled it out for the gaming champion title.
