The 9th annual iPhone Photography Awards winners have been posted on the IPPA website. The selections process went through “thousands” of images that were submitted from photographers across 139 countries.
This year’s grand prize went to “Man and the Eagle” by Siyuan Niu.

The photo shows a 70-year-old man with his eagle. The photo was shot on an iPhone 5s with a filter from VSCO and post processed in Snapseed, Niu told said.
In 1st place came “Modern Cathedrals” by Patryk Kuleta with an abstract of a cathedral architecture in Poland.

The second place went to “She Bends with the Wind” by Robin Robertis, showing a woman in red moving with the wind a field during sunset.
