Tesla owners can now add YouTube Music to their list of in-car entertainment options! An upcoming update for Tesla models S, 3, X, and Y will bring native support for the popular music streaming platform, eliminating the need for Bluetooth connections and their associated limitations.

While the update hasn’t been rolled out yet, the release notes confirm that YouTube Music integration is on the way. This means Tesla owners will soon be able to enjoy the full range of YouTube Music features, including voice search and playlist management, directly from their car’s touchscreen.

The news has been met with enthusiasm on Reddit, where Tesla owners are celebrating the end of workarounds and the freedom to choose their preferred music streaming service. Some users even plan to cancel their Spotify subscriptions, highlighting the strong demand for YouTube Music within the Tesla community.

With the addition of YouTube Music, Tesla’s in-car entertainment options continue to expand, joining the ranks of Spotify,Apple Music, Tidal, Slacker, and TuneIn. While the exact date for the update rollout remains a mystery, Tesla enthusiasts can rest assured that their musical cravings will soon be satisfied without ever leaving their driver’s seat.
