Yango Group has been awarded the Dubai AI Seal at Tier S, the highest certification level granted by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI). The recognition places the company among a small number of AI providers officially endorsed under the initiative, which was introduced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum as part of Dubai’s push to strengthen its role in the global AI sector.
The AI Seal serves as a benchmark for identifying trusted providers and is closely tied to Dubai’s Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence, a framework that outlines the Emirate’s strategy for becoming an international hub for advanced technology. Certification at Tier S is intended to highlight companies whose products and services meet the DCAI’s standards for reliability, safety, and practical impact.
Yango’s AI portfolio includes Yasmina, a bilingual assistant designed for Arabic and English with contextual cultural awareness; robotics systems for warehouse automation; autonomous delivery robots supporting urban sustainability projects; and YangoAI, a technology suite adapted for markets in the Gulf region.
In a statement, Saeed Al Falasi, Executive Director at the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, said the Seal is aimed at strengthening Dubai’s AI private sector by creating opportunities for collaboration between businesses and government. According to Al Falasi, the goal is to ensure AI is developed in ways that provide measurable benefits to society while fostering confidence in its applications.
Sergej Loiter, CEO of Search, AI, and AdTech at Yango Group, described the certification as a step toward closer partnerships with public entities. He positioned the recognition as a sign that Yango’s technologies are aligned with Dubai’s digital transformation agenda, while also providing the company with an opportunity to expand its role in regional AI adoption.
The certification underscores how Dubai is formalising its AI strategy not only by setting policy goals but also by establishing benchmarks that determine which companies can be considered reliable contributors to the ecosystem. For Yango, the Tier S Seal may enhance credibility in a competitive field where trust and transparency are increasingly seen as essential for AI adoption.
