WHOOP advanced labs launches in the UAE with 65-biomarker testing panel

WHOOP advanced labs is expanding into the UAE through a new diagnostic partnership with WHOOP and Unilabs, bringing the company’s 65-biomarker blood testing panel to members across the country. The move introduces a more formal link between consumer wearables and clinical laboratory testing in the region, reflecting growing demand for integrated health tracking beyond basic fitness metrics.

Under the agreement, Unilabs will provide access to WHOOP’s Advanced Labs panel at its centers throughout the UAE, with an additional home collection option. The test includes 65 clinically validated blood biomarkers, covering areas such as cardiovascular markers, metabolic health, hormones, inflammation, and nutrient levels. Pricing is set at 733 AED, aligning with the current US offering. After completing their bloodwork, members can upload results directly into the WHOOP app, where the data is layered alongside continuous wearable metrics such as sleep patterns, recovery scores, and daily strain.

The concept behind whoop advanced labs is straightforward: combine periodic lab diagnostics with continuous biometric monitoring to build a longer-term view of health trends. Rather than relying solely on wearable-derived estimates, users can compare laboratory-confirmed values with behavioral data collected 24/7. Over time, this may help identify patterns between lifestyle habits and measurable physiological markers. The company says it plans to deepen the technical integration between lab systems and its platform in future phases of the partnership.

The UAE has increasingly positioned itself as a regional hub for longevity research, preventative healthcare, and performance-focused technology. Demand for structured health data has grown alongside interest in endurance sports, executive wellness programs, and bio-monitoring tools. By adding a formal diagnostics partner in the UAE, WHOOP is effectively localizing a service that previously required US-based access, which could lower barriers for Gulf-based members.

Within the app, uploaded lab results are interpreted through WHOOP Coach, the platform’s guidance feature. The system contextualizes biomarkers against recovery metrics, sleep behavior, and strain levels to offer personalized suggestions. While wearable technology has traditionally centered on athletes, the expansion of whoop advanced labs signals a broader target audience: professionals, health-conscious consumers, and individuals tracking long-term healthspan metrics.

WHOOP, founded in 2012 and headquartered in Boston, has raised more than $400 million in venture capital and operates in 56 markets. Its current devices include the WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG, both focused on continuous physiological monitoring. Unilabs operates across 14 markets with laboratory, pathology, genetics, and imaging services, processing millions of diagnostic tests annually.

The partnership reflects a broader shift in digital health, where consumer wearables are increasingly intersecting with regulated medical diagnostics. Whether this integration meaningfully improves long-term outcomes will depend on how consistently users test, interpret, and act on the data. Still, the arrival of whoop advanced labs in the UAE marks a practical step toward more connected health tracking in the region.
