WhatsApp is finally bringing multi-account functionality to iOS users, according to reports from WABetaInfo. The latest beta version of the messaging app for iOS (version 25.2.10.70) allows users to add and switch between multiple accounts on a single device. This feature has been available to Android users since 2023.
With this update, iOS users can add a second account as either a primary account or a linked companion account. This means users can manage multiple phone numbers within the same app, eliminating the need to switch between different apps or devices to access separate accounts.

While Android users have enjoyed this convenience for some time, the implementation appears to differ slightly on iOS. The beta version suggests that users can link a second account by scanning a QR code, providing a potentially streamlined setup process.
The multi-account feature is currently available to iOS users participating in the WhatsApp beta program through Apple’s TestFlight platform. A wider rollout to the general public is expected in the future, though an official release date has not yet been announced.
This update brings WhatsApp’s iOS functionality closer to parity with its Android counterpart, offering greater flexibility and convenience for users who manage multiple accounts.
