UGREEN debuts new NAS systems and enters home security at CES 2026

At CES 2026, UGREEN used its presence to outline a broader shift in product scope, announcing new network-attached storage hardware, an updated high-output desktop charger, and its first move into home security devices. Framed under the company’s “Activate Smarter Living” theme, the announcements point less to a single breakthrough and more to a steady expansion into adjacent categories where UGREEN already has a foothold through power and storage accessories.

The Nexode Pro 300W Desktop Charger is positioned as an evolution of UGREEN’s earlier multi-port charging stations rather than a reinvention. Designed for desks with several power-hungry devices, the unit includes eight ports in total, highlighted by three 140W USB-C ports supporting PD 3.1 and a dedicated 240W DC output aimed at gaming laptops. A built-in 3.02-inch TFT display provides real-time charging data, while power distribution is handled automatically based on connected devices. Users can also adjust behavior through the UGREEN companion app, which offers several predefined charging modes. In practice, this places the charger squarely in the growing category of centralized desktop power hubs for hybrid work setups.

UGREEN also used CES 2026 to formally introduce the SynCare Series, marking its first entry into home security. The lineup includes the SynCare Indoor Cam ID500 Pro and ID500 Plus, both offering 4K resolution and motorized pan-tilt tracking, alongside the outdoor SynCare Video Doorbell DB600 Pro, which supports continuous recording and optical zoom in a weather-resistant enclosure. Acting as a central control point is the SynCare Smart Display D500, a dedicated hub with dual-band Wi-Fi, live monitoring, and app-based management.

Rather than leaning on subscription-based cloud services, UGREEN is emphasizing local processing and storage. The SynCare system relies on encrypted, on-device storage through the company’s NASync hardware, with AI-based recognition used to differentiate people, pets, and events. Features such as cross-camera awareness, night imaging enhancements, and customizable alerts are increasingly common across the category, placing SynCare in direct competition with more established smart security ecosystems.

That local-first approach is also central to the newly announced NASync iDX6011 and iDX6011 Pro. These systems expand UGREEN’s NAS lineup with higher-performance internals and built-in AI tools designed to operate entirely offline. The iDX6011 is built around an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor, while the Pro model steps up to a Core Ultra 7 255H with additional cores and higher boost clocks. Both configurations support up to 196TB of combined SATA and NVMe storage, dual 10GbE networking, and large memory capacities aimed at creators, families, and small teams.

AI features focus on practical file management rather than automation for its own sake. Universal search allows natural-language queries across stored data, while an integrated local chat model can summarize documents or answer questions about a private file library. Additional tools include automated photo organization, voice memo transcription, and background file sorting, all handled without routing data through external cloud platforms.
