Meta’s social media app Threads has launched in Europe, after launching back in July to over 100 countries around the world except the European Union due to privacy regulations. The Twitter competitor is now available to use across Europe to over 448 million citizens.

Meta is now also allowing access without creating a profile — though you can’t post or interact with content if you opt in without one.

Since its release back in July, Threads has been updated and gained many new features such as hashtags, “following” and “for you” feeds, a web version and many more, hopping it can gain momentum and overtake X.
