Apple added the original iPhone SE from 2016 to its vintage and obsolete products list. Apple classifies any device that has passed the 5 years mark since it was last sold as vintage, and obsolete at the seven year point.
The original iPhone SE was released in March 2016 and was discontinued in September 2018
What does this mean ? Vintage devices won’t be eligible for repairs through Apple or Apple Authorized Service Providers in most cases, unless parts are available.
