TCL has announced its NXTVISION TV, developed in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen, as part of a joint effort to merge high-end design with advanced home entertainment technology. The new television is being positioned as both a functional display and a design-forward object intended to integrate seamlessly into modern living spaces.
When powered off, the NXTVISION TV doubles as a customizable digital canvas, displaying curated artworks and ambient visuals tailored to the user’s preferences. When active, it delivers 4K QLED resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and TCL’s AI Picture Engine, designed to balance clarity, color, and motion for a more natural viewing experience.
On the audio side, TCL partnered with Bang & Olufsen to develop a sound system that goes beyond standard built-in TV speakers. The setup includes a soundbar and subwoofer engineered by Bang & Olufsen’s acoustic team, delivering audio tuned for both cinematic scale and subtle detail. Beosonic, the company’s sound personalization interface, allows users to adjust tone, spatial depth, and direction with simple touch controls, adapting to different scenarios such as film, gaming, music, or casual listening.
The collaboration emphasizes restraint and design over flash. TCL and Bang & Olufsen describe the NXTVISION TV as a “new kind of luxury”—a device intended to be understated, artistic, and in tune with modern interiors, rather than an imposing piece of technology.
For TCL, the partnership reflects its push to compete not only on performance but also on how technology fits into lifestyle choices. For Bang & Olufsen, it extends the company’s long-standing reputation for sound craftsmanship into a new category of premium home displays.
