8849 has launched the TANK 4 PRO, a rugged smartphone that combines high-end performance with durability and a unique feature: a built-in 720P projector. Marketed as the world’s first rugged phone to include this capability, the TANK 4 PRO positions itself as a tool for both professionals in the field and users seeking off-grid functionality without sacrificing entertainment or productivity.
The TANK 4 PRO features a 6.73-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 3200 × 1440 and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset, it pairs 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM with 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. A triple-slot design supports dual SIM use alongside memory expansion via TF card, enhancing flexibility for users who rely on one device for both personal and professional use.
Its standout addition is a 720P DLP projector integrated directly into the phone. With 100 lumens of brightness and laser-assisted autofocus, the projector is designed for use in low-light environments like tents or remote campsites.
