SwitchBot expands robot lineup with floor cleaning S20 and compact K11+

SwitchBot has announced two new additions to its lineup of home cleaning robots: the Floor Cleaning Robot S20 and the Robot Vacuum K11+. Both models ship with support for Matter 1.4, ensuring they can slot into multiple smart home platforms, including Apple Home, with section-cleaning capabilities.

The S20 sits at the higher end of the range, priced at $799.99. It builds on the company’s earlier efforts with a focus on automated maintenance. At its core is the RinseSync mop system, which rinses the roller mop during operation to avoid spreading dirt across the floor. It pairs this with a 10,000Pa suction system, an anti-tangle brush design, and AI-powered obstacle avoidance for mixed flooring.

The robot is bundled with a MultiClean Base Station, available in two variants: one with refillable water tanks and another that hooks into household plumbing for automatic filling and draining. In both cases, the station can store dust for up to 90 days and dries the mop with heated air to minimize odor and bacteria growth. SwitchBot also touts ecosystem integration, with the S20 capable of refilling the company’s humidifier automatically.

The K11+ is positioned as a smaller and more affordable option at $399.99. Marketed as one of the most compact robot vacuums available, it measures under 25 centimeters in diameter and just over 9 centimeters in height, allowing it to clean under low furniture and squeeze into tight areas. Despite its size, the K11+ offers 6,000Pa suction and comes with the same anti-tangle brush system as the S20.

The compact base station is designed for apartments or small homes, taking up less space than an A4 sheet of paper while still storing up to 90 days of dust in a 4L bag. The vacuum uses LiDAR-based navigation to map rooms and avoid obstacles, while quiet mode reduces noise levels to around 45dB, making it suitable for night use or work-from-home environments.

By releasing both models simultaneously, SwitchBot is targeting two ends of the market: the S20 for larger households looking for a hands-free cleaning system with water management, and the K11+ for smaller living spaces where compactness and lower cost matter most. Both aim to strengthen the company’s positioning in the increasingly crowded robot vacuum space, where interoperability and automation are becoming key differentiators.
