Oh well, i guess it was only a matter of time. Spotify’s price increase that rolled out last month in some countries is hitting the UAE in September.
Spotify Premium subscribers in the UAE received emails alerting them that the pricing is changing from AED 19.99/month to AED 21.99/month for individual Premium and from AED AED 31.99/month to AED 33.99/month for Family plans.
The reason? Spotify said this in the email:
We’re increasing the price of Premium Individual so that we can continue to invest in and innovate on our product offerings and features, and bring you the best experience.
Expect the new pricing structure to kick in from September.
