Skullcandy has unveiled three new earbud models in its Active Collection, designed to meet the needs of active and adventurous individuals. The lineup, priced between $60 and $100, features sweat and water resistance, multipoint pairing, and rapid charging for convenient use during workouts and outdoor activities.
The $60 Push Play Active boasts over-the-ear hooks and an IP55 rating, making them ideal for sweaty workouts. Skullcandy claims a smart mic will enhance call clarity by reducing background noise. Users can also personalize their listening experience with various equalizer presets and a customizable five-band EQ.
The Push ANC Active and Sesh ANC Active, priced at $100 and $90 respectively, share IP67 sweatproof and waterproof ratings. Both models offer adjustable active noise cancellation (ANC) through a four-mic array and are compatible with the Skullcandy app for personalized controls and EQ adjustments.
The Push ANC Active features an over-the-ear hook for a secure fit and a claimed battery life of up to 37 hours with ANC on or 58 hours with ANC off. Its charging case supports wireless charging. The Sesh ANC Active, on the other hand, sports a traditional true wireless design with a “fit grip” for stability. It boasts a battery life of up to 28 hours with ANC on or 48 hours with ANC off.
