Seagate has officially launched its highest-capacity hard drives to date: the 30TB Exos M and IronWolf Pro. These new models are now available globally, including in the UAE, and are designed specifically to support the growing demands of AI-intensive workloads and data-heavy NAS environments.
Both drives are built on Seagate’s Mozaic 3+ platform, leveraging Heat-Assisted Magnetic Recording (HAMR) technology. This enables each drive to store 30 terabytes of data without compromising on performance or energy efficiency — a significant milestone in the evolution of traditional hard disk drives.
The timing of the release aligns with a clear trend: organizations across sectors are increasingly constrained by data gravity, especially as AI adoption accelerates and data sovereignty laws push infrastructure toward the edge. The 30TB IronWolf Pro and Exos M are priced at AED 2,204 (approx. $599.99). Slightly lower-capacity 28TB models are also available for AED 2,093 (around $569.99). The drives can be purchased directly from Seagate’s online store or through authorized UAE resellers.
