Samsung has opened pre-orders for its latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7, across the UAE. Available until July 24, these new devices mark the brand’s continued effort to refine foldable design with slimmer profiles, integrated AI capabilities, and pro-level camera systems, building on its established foldables portfolio.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 arrives as Samsung’s thinnest and lightest foldable yet. Designed for users who demand productivity without sacrificing portability, it combines a traditional smartphone form factor with a larger display when unfolded. This year’s model features a new 200MP camera, AI-powered editing tools, and multitasking enhancements to position it as an all-in-one device for work, creativity, and entertainment. It also introduces security upgrades such as quantum-resistant encryption and Samsung’s Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection (KEEP), aligning with broader trends in mobile security and on-device data privacy.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip7 continues Samsung’s tradition of compact foldables with a 4.1-inch edge-to-edge FlexWindow that allows quick interactions without opening the phone. Its flagship-level camera system, including a 50MP wide and 12MP ultra-wide lens, is supported by AI tools like Real-Time Filters and Portrait Studio, catering to users who prioritise content creation and sharing on the go. The Flip7 also integrates Samsung DeX for the first time, offering the option to connect to a screen and use PC-style multitasking tools when needed.
In a move to make foldables more accessible, Samsung has also announced the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, combining a refined compact design with Galaxy AI features and a 6.7-inch main display. While lacking some of the higher-tier specifications of the flagship Flip7, the FE model continues Samsung’s strategy of expanding foldable technology to a wider consumer base.
Both the Fold7 and Flip7 are built on One UI 8 with Android 16, offering intelligent and multimodal AI features optimised for their form factors. The devices integrate Gemini Live for contextual assistance and personalised recommendations, enhancing daily usability.
Customers pre-ordering either device in the UAE will receive a free memory upgrade—Fold7 buyers can get the 512GB model for the price of the 256GB variant, while Flip7 buyers will receive the same offer on their respective storage options. Additional offers include six-month subscriptions to OSN+, Anghami Plus, Viu, and Careem Plus dining (for UAE users), alongside 2-for-1 dining deals via Entertainer.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is priced at AED 7,599 (256GB), AED 8,099 (512GB), and AED 9,349 (1TB). The Galaxy Z Flip7 is available for AED 4,299 (256GB) and AED 4,799 (512GB). Colour options for the Fold7 include Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow, and Jetblack, while the Flip7 comes in Jetblack, Blue Shadow, and Coralred. Mint is offered exclusively on Samsung.com for both models.
