Samsung Galaxy S25 FE now available in the UAE

Samsung has released the Galaxy S25 FE in the UAE, a device positioned as a lower-cost entry into the company’s flagship range. The phone carries forward many of the features of the S25 series, including artificial intelligence tools, improved camera software, and longer software support, while scaling back some aspects to keep the price accessible.

The S25 FE runs on One UI 8 and incorporates multimodal AI functions, which allow interaction through text, voice, and visuals. Among the tools are Generative Edit, which removes unwanted elements from photos, and Instant Slow-mo, which can turn standard clips into slow-motion video. The front camera has been upgraded to 12 megapixels and is supported by image-processing software that reduces noise and improves clarity, especially in low light.

Hardware changes include a 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired charging, a vapor chamber for thermal management, and a frame made of aluminum. The display measures 6.7 inches, uses Dynamic AMOLED 2X technology, and supports a 120Hz refresh rate.

AI features extend beyond photography. Gemini Live provides contextual guidance by analyzing what the camera sees, while Now Bar and Now Brief present real-time updates directly on the lock screen, such as traffic, reminders, and fitness summaries. Circle to Search allows in-game queries without leaving the application.

For video and photo editing, the phone includes tools like Audio Eraser to reduce background noise and Auto Trim to select highlights from longer footage. Portrait Studio creates avatars, while Super HDR aims to provide more accurate colors in video.

The Galaxy S25 FE is available in the UAE starting at AED 2,459 for the 256GB model. The device comes in Icyblue, Jetblack, Navy, and White, and will receive seven years of operating system and security updates. Buyers in the UAE also receive limited-time subscriptions to services including Amazon Prime, OSN+, VIU, and Anghami Plus.

The S25 FE does not introduce major new technology but continues the trend of offering scaled-down versions of flagship phones. For buyers in the UAE, it provides a mid-point between Samsung’s top-end devices and its more affordable alternatives, with AI features and extended software support as its key selling points.
