Samsung has launched the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G in the UAE, expanding its mid-range A-series lineup with incremental improvements in camera performance, battery life, software support, and AI-assisted tools. The devices arrive as consumers continue to seek balanced smartphones that deliver reliable daily use without flagship pricing.
Both models feature a 50MP main camera supported by ultra-wide and macro lenses. The A57 5G includes enhanced processing for low-light photography through Nightography, aiming for sharper details and reduced noise after dark. AI-driven scene optimization and editing features such as Object Eraser, Filters, and Edit Suggestions are available across the pair, while the higher model adds Best Face and Auto Trim. Circle to Search with Google now handles multiple objects, and the latest One UI 8.5 brings voice transcription alongside upgraded Bixby and Gemini interactions.
Performance upgrades focus on smoother multitasking and content handling. The A57 5G receives a step up in CPU, GPU, and NPU capabilities, paired with a 5,000mAh battery, faster charging support, and an improved vapor chamber for sustained operation during extended use. Both phones include Super AMOLED+ displays with Vision Booster technology, IP68 dust and water resistance, and Samsung’s Knox Vault for secure data storage. Additional privacy measures cover private albums, theft protection alerts, and related safeguards.

Software longevity stands out as a practical selling point. Samsung promises up to six generations of Android OS and One UI updates, plus matching security patches, which should keep the devices viable well into the early 2030s. This level of support has become more common in the mid-range segment but remains valuable for users who prefer to hold onto phones longer.
In the UAE market, the Galaxy A57 5G leads the pair with a slimmer profile and the more advanced AI features. Color options include Awesome Navy, Awesome Gray, Awesome IcyBlue, and Awesome Lilac for the A57, while the A37 arrives in Awesome Graygreen, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Lavender, and Awesome White. Storage variants range from 6GB/128GB on the entry A37 model up to 12GB/512GB on the top A57 configuration.
Pricing starts at AED 1,409 for the Galaxy A37 5G (6+128GB) and reaches AED 2,579 for the Galaxy A57 5G (12+512GB). Launch promotions include trade-in discounts of up to AED 599, cashback offers through Samsung’s e-store, and bundled subscriptions such as Amazon Prime, OSN+, Anghami Plus, and Careem+. Samsung Care+ provides optional extended coverage for accidental damage and repairs.
These mid-range releases reflect Samsung’s ongoing strategy to bring select AI capabilities and durable hardware to a broader audience in the Gulf region. While the upgrades are evolutionary rather than revolutionary, the combination of solid cameras, extended software support, and everyday reliability positions the A57 and A37 as competitive options against similarly priced rivals from other manufacturers.
