RØDE has refreshed its popular Wireless Micro system with a colorful new lineup, adding red, orange, and blue options to its existing black and white models. The update gives creators more freedom to match their audio gear with their personal aesthetic while keeping all the features that have made the compact wireless microphone one of the most widely used tools in mobile content production.
The new color range arrives alongside a notable price drop — the Wireless Micro now costs $99, roughly 33% less than before. RØDE says the move reflects its ongoing goal to make professional-grade sound equipment more affordable and accessible to creators at every level. Despite the lower price, the product retains the same specifications and functionality as the standard edition, including its 21-hour charging case, USB-C connectivity, and intuitive pairing process.

Designed for versatility, the Wireless Micro can connect directly to smartphones, tablets, or cameras. The system supports RØDE’s Direct Connect feature, which enables wireless pairing with iOS devices through Bluetooth when using the RØDE Capture app. This allows users to capture high-quality audio straight to their mobile devices without extra adapters or cables.
To further improve flexibility, RØDE continues to include the Wireless Micro Camera Receiver as a redeemable accessory for new buyers. The compact on-camera unit lets users easily switch between mobile and professional setups, offering reliable wireless transmission for both casual and professional shoots.

RØDE CEO Damien Wilson described the colorful refresh as both an aesthetic and symbolic milestone for the company’s creator-focused philosophy. “The Wireless Micro has always been about making professional audio accessible, and now creators can showcase both their signature sound and style with the same system,” he said in a statement.

Since its launch, the Wireless Micro has become a staple for vloggers, podcasters, and social media creators thanks to its lightweight design, clear audio capture, and ease of use. By adding a range of expressive colors and lowering the entry price, RØDE is positioning the system as not just a piece of gear, but a creative accessory — one that matches the personality of the modern content maker as much as their workflow.
