Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses get 3-minute video recording boost

Meta is giving Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses users more recording time with a new update. The update, software version 6.0, extends the video recording limit from a measly 60 seconds to a much more useful 3 minutes. This is a significant improvement for users who want to capture longer moments on the go, whether it’s a child’s soccer game, a breathtaking sunset, or a spontaneous gathering with friends. With the increased recording limit, users can now record more complete experiences and share them with others.

The update also brings several other improvements to the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. As previously announced, software version 6.0 adds support for popular apps like Calm and Amazon Music, giving users more options for relaxation and entertainment. However, some users may not see the extended video recording feature immediately after updating their glasses. This is likely due to a staged or limited rollout by Meta.

The update might be prioritized for iOS users first, or Meta might be gradually releasing it to ensure a smooth experience for everyone.
