Røde has opened public voting for the People’s Choice Award as part of its 2025 Creator of the Year Awards, alongside the announcement of finalists across a wide range of creative categories. The awards aim to spotlight diverse talent from platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, bringing attention to creators who have made notable contributions to digital media over the past year.
The 2025 event includes 18 categories in total — three major awards and fifteen Spotlight Awards — designed to cover various forms of content creation. According to Røde, the initiative seeks to highlight not only established names but also emerging creators who are shaping the digital landscape through originality and consistent engagement.
Public participation forms a central part of the program, with voting for the People’s Choice Award now live. Members of the public can cast their votes for their preferred creator and will automatically be entered into a draw to win one of ten prize packs. Each pack features several of Røde’s products, such as the Wireless Micro compact microphone, PodMic USB broadcast microphone, Wireless PRO system, NTH-100 headphones, DS2 desk stand, and Interview GO adaptors.
Now in its second year, the Røde Creator of the Year Awards continue to position themselves as a platform that bridges content creation and professional audio production. The awards offer a share of more than US$200,000 in cash and equipment prizes, supported by various creative and technology partners. For Røde, which has spent more than three decades developing microphones and production tools for musicians, podcasters, and filmmakers, the awards extend its ongoing relationship with the creator community.
Voting for the People’s Choice Award is open from November 10 to November 19. The full list of winners across all categories will be announced on November 20 via the official Creator of the Year Awards website. Those interested in taking part can visit creatorawards.rode.com and follow the prompts under “Vote Now.”
