Pocket-sized powerhouse: Anker’s 100W Nano charger defies expectations

Anker has once again pushed the boundaries of portable charging with its latest release, the 100W Nano Charger. This ultra-compact power adapter delivers an impressive 100W of power, all while being notably smaller and lighter than previous models.

Weighing in at a mere 60 grams lighter than Anker’s previous ultracompact 100W wall charger, the new Nano Charger makes a significant tradeoff to achieve its remarkably small size. To create its smallest 100W power adapter to date,Anker opted for a single USB-C port, sacrificing the multiple ports found on earlier models.

This design choice highlights the Nano Charger’s focus on minimalist portability. Its size is truly remarkable; with its prongs folded, it’s only slightly larger than the Apple AirPods Pro 2’s charging case. This means the Nano Charger can easily slip into any pocket that can accommodate earbuds, making it an ideal travel companion.

Anker has also addressed a common issue with power adapters: loose prongs that easily slip out of wall outlets. The 100W Nano Charger features thicker prongs with a matte finish, designed to enhance grip and ensure a secure connection.

While the single USB-C port may necessitate carrying additional adapters for users with multiple devices, the 100W Anker Nano Charger stands out as one of the most compact and powerful chargers on the market. It represents a significant step forward in portable charging technology, offering a blend of power and portability that’s perfect for those who are constantly on the move.

Currently available for preorder at $44.99, the 100W Nano Charger is expected to ship in mid-September.
