PITAKA is expanding its lineup of aramid fiber accessories with a new case collection for the iPhone 17 series. The Shenzhen-based brand, known for pushing minimalist designs with advanced materials, is introducing three models that target different user needs: the Ultra-Slim Case, the Aramid ProGuard Case, and the Aramid UltraGuard Case. Each version focuses on balancing aesthetics with protection, while integrating seamlessly into PITAKA’s MagEZ ecosystem.
The Ultra-Slim Case is aimed at users who want protection without bulk. At just 0.88mm thick and weighing 17 grams, it’s closer to a skin than a case, offering a smooth but durable aramid fiber finish. A PitaTap™ edition introduces a layered button system designed to improve camera control responsiveness, while all versions feature PITAKA’s Amber Magnet Film for reliable MagSafe alignment. Available in woven finishes like Sunset, Moonrise, and The Milky Way, the Ultra-Slim Case starts at $49.99, with the PitaTap™ edition priced at $59.99.

For those prioritizing durability, the Aramid ProGuard Case offers military-grade drop protection while keeping the profile relatively slim at just over 2mm. Its standout feature is arched corner cushioning, engineered to absorb impacts where phones are most vulnerable. The aramid weave has been treated for extra grip, while MagSafe compatibility remains intact. Designed specifically for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, the ProGuard is priced at $59.99.

The flagship option is the Aramid UltraGuard Case, which PITAKA calls the industry’s first full-cover aramid fiber design. Created with a 3D thermoforming process, it fuses aramid fiber with TPU for a seamless wraparound build that covers edges and corners without the bulk common in rugged cases. The UltraGuard also adds metallic buttons, reinforced edges, and MagSafe integration, aiming to deliver both a premium look and dependable protection. Available for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, it will retail at $79.99.

Preorders for the Ultra-Slim Case open on September 5, with the ProGuard and UltraGuard following on September 10 via PITAKA’s website.
The collection highlights PITAKA’s strategy of differentiating on materials and craftsmanship in a crowded accessories market. By offering slim, stylish designs that still promise impact protection, the company is positioning its cases as a premium alternative to mass-market options while catering to both design-conscious users and those who want rugged reliability.
