OPPO has confirmed that its next foldable smartphone, the Find N6, will be officially unveiled on March 17, 2026, during a global launch event at the company’s Binhai Bay Campus in China. The upcoming device is positioned as the latest entry in the Find N foldable lineup, with OPPO focusing heavily on improvements to the hinge and display design in an effort to reduce the visible crease that has long been associated with foldable screens.
According to the company, the Find N6 introduces what it calls a “Zero-Feel Crease,” a design approach intended to minimize the appearance and feel of the fold line on the internal display. OPPO states that the crease should be difficult to see under normal viewing angles and everyday usage. However, the company clarifies that the crease is not physically removed; rather, it has been engineered to appear less noticeable depending on lighting conditions and the content displayed.
Concerns about screen creasing have been a recurring topic since foldable smartphones first entered the market. Many manufacturers have attempted to address the issue through hinge redesigns, stronger display layers, and adjustments to how the screen bends when the device is closed. OPPO previously introduced a waterdrop-style Flexion Hinge with the original Find N in 2021, which aimed to reduce the depth of the crease compared with earlier foldable designs. The Find N6 appears to continue that approach with updated hinge architecture and revised display materials.
The device is also designed to maintain a relatively thin profile for a book-style foldable. OPPO says the Find N6 aims to match the ergonomics of conventional smartphones despite its folding mechanism, with a structure intended to remain comfortable during extended use. Foldables have historically faced criticism for bulkier bodies and heavier builds, so companies have increasingly focused on reducing thickness and weight in newer models.
In terms of hardware, the Find N6 includes a large camera module integrated into what OPPO calls a “Cosmos Ring” design. The system reportedly features a 200-megapixel camera developed in collaboration with Hasselblad. Camera partnerships have become common in the smartphone industry as manufacturers attempt to differentiate their imaging capabilities through specialized tuning and branding agreements.
The device will launch in two color options: Stellar Titanium and Blossom Orange. OPPO says the Blossom Orange model includes a gold-accented hinge trim produced using a gilding process that incorporates real gold into the finish. While primarily aesthetic, such details reflect how smartphone manufacturers increasingly emphasize design materials to distinguish high-end devices.
The Find N6 will also support the OPPO AI Pen, a stylus designed to work with the foldable’s larger display. The company describes it as a tool intended to expand productivity features on the device, allowing users to write, sketch, or interact with AI-powered functions directly on the screen. Stylus compatibility has become a growing trend among foldable devices as manufacturers attempt to position them as hybrid tools for both entertainment and work.
More technical details about the Find N6, including specifications, pricing, and availability, are expected to be revealed during the March 17 launch event. As competition in the foldable smartphone market intensifies, improvements in hinge durability, display quality, and device thickness remain key areas manufacturers continue to refine.
