OPPO has confirmed the launch of its Reno15 Series in the GCC, with the UAE serving as the first regional market. Announced in Dubai on 14 January 2026, the new lineup reflects the company’s continued focus on AI-assisted photography and refined industrial design rather than a dramatic shift in category direction. The Reno15 Series, which includes the Reno15 Pro 5G, Reno15 5G, and Reno15 F 5G, will be officially unveiled at an event on 21 January at Ain Dubai.
The Reno15 Series is positioned around portrait photography, an area where OPPO has steadily invested over multiple product generations. The top-tier Reno15 Pro introduces a 200MP main rear camera, a specification aimed at users who prioritize detail retention and flexibility when cropping or editing images. While high megapixel counts have become more common in flagship devices, OPPO’s approach here leans on post-processing and computational photography to make that resolution usable in everyday scenarios rather than purely as a technical headline.

Across the entire lineup, OPPO has standardized a 50MP ultra-wide front-facing camera with a 100-degree field of view. This reflects changing usage patterns in markets like the UAE, where group selfies and social content creation are central to smartphone photography. The wider angle reduces the need for repositioning or cropping, particularly in crowded or indoor settings.
AI Flash Photography 2.0 builds on previous iterations by combining a dual rear flash system with a front screen flash for selfies. The emphasis is on more even lighting and reduced harshness, particularly in low-light or night scenes. Software features such as the Reno Portrait Engine and skin tone optimization algorithms are designed to deliver consistent results across a wide range of complexions, an important consideration in a multicultural market like the Gulf.
Editing tools also receive attention, with features such as AI Portrait Glow offering automated lighting correction for images affected by backlighting or uneven exposure. Rather than replacing manual editing, these tools aim to reduce the time required to reach usable results, particularly for casual creators.
Design remains a core part of the Reno identity. The Reno15 Series builds on the visual language introduced with the Reno14, using light-reflective finishes inspired by aurora-like patterns. The sculpted glass back and redesigned camera ring add subtle visual distinction without moving into overly experimental territory. Durability is addressed through an aluminum frame and IP66, IP68, and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings, making the devices suitable for outdoor use in varied conditions.

Display sizes range from a compact 6.32 inches on the Reno15 Pro to 6.59 and 6.57 inches on the other models, all featuring high refresh rates. This spread allows OPPO to target both users who prefer one-handed usability and those who prioritize screen real estate.
Following the launch event, the Reno15 Series will roll out across authorized retail and online channels in the UAE. Pricing and final availability details are expected to be shared closer to release, positioning the series as a mid-to-upper segment option for users focused on photography, design, and everyday performance rather than experimental features.
