OpenAI opens Up DALL-E 3 to ChatGPT free users, but with limitations

OpenAI has extended the availability of its powerful image generation model, DALL-E 3, to free users of ChatGPT.However, while the move makes the advanced AI image generation capabilities more accessible, it comes with a limitation: free users are restricted to creating a maximum of two images per day.

For those seeking unlimited AI image generation, a ChatGPT Plus subscription or the use of Microsoft Designer’s Image Creator, which supports text prompts in over 100 languages and offers up to 15 boosted generations for free Microsoft account holders, are viable alternatives.

This expansion of DALL-E 3’s reach, coupled with the availability of free alternatives, signifies a significant step towards making AI-powered image generation more accessible to the general public. As these tools continue to evolve and become more readily available, we can expect a surge in creative output and innovative applications across various fields.
