OnePlus 15 global launch tipped for november 13 after china debut

A new leak suggests OnePlus is preparing to unveil its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 15, to global audiences in mid-November. According to a report from 91Mobiles, citing industry sources, the company plans to hold an international launch event on November 13, shortly after the device’s debut in China, which is expected around October 27.

OnePlus has already begun teasing the phone, highlighting its “Sand Storm” color option and confirming it will feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor — the successor to last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite. The company is positioning the OnePlus 15 as a premium competitor to Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series and Apple’s iPhone 17 lineup, aiming to maintain its relevance in a crowded flagship market.

Early details point to a design focused on durability and performance. OnePlus claims the OnePlus 15’s chassis is made from aerospace-grade nano-ceramic metal, said to be over 130% harder than titanium and more than twice as strong as stainless steel. While such claims will need real-world validation, they indicate the company’s intent to emphasize build quality as a key differentiator.

Beyond its materials, the OnePlus 15 is rumored to include a 7,000mAh battery with 120W wired charging and 50W wireless support — among the fastest in the industry. The display is reportedly a 6.78-inch OLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, paired with 16GB of RAM, suggesting OnePlus intends to push the phone’s performance to flagship extremes.

If these specifications hold, the OnePlus 15 would represent one of the brand’s most ambitious releases yet, blending premium hardware with aggressive power and battery capabilities. However, the real test will be how it performs against rivals that have matured in design and software integration, areas where OnePlus has at times struggled to stay ahead.

With the official Chinese unveiling likely set for late October and the global launch following weeks later, it won’t be long before the company reveals how much of this speculation proves accurate. Either way, the OnePlus 15 is shaping up to be a significant release for the brand as it seeks to reclaim ground in the flagship market.
