Nothing has commenced the rollout of Nothing OS 3.0 (NOS 3.0), its latest Android 15-based operating system. This update introduces a range of new features and enhancements designed to elevate the user experience and provide greater customization options.

One of the highlights of NOS 3.0 is a new native gallery app, offering advanced search capabilities and expanded editing tools, including filters, markup, and intelligent suggestions. The update also introduces Shared Widgets, allowing users to share widgets with friends and family on the newly redesigned lock screen. Enhanced productivity widgets, such as the Countdown Widget, help users stay organized and on track.

NOS 3.0 also includes an AI-powered Smart Drawer that automatically categorizes apps into folders for more efficient access. Other improvements include enhanced Quick Settings, an improved Pop-up view, visual and performance enhancements, and updated typography.

The rollout of NOS 3.0 is being staggered throughout the remainder of the year for Phone (2) and Phone (2a). Phone (1), Phone (2a) Plus, and CMF Phone 1 are expected to receive the update in early 2025.
