Nothing Phone (3) appears on Geekbench with Snapdragon 7s Gen 3

A new Nothing smartphone, believed to be the Phone (3), has surfaced on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing some key specifications. The listing indicates that the device, identified by model number A059, is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and 8GB of RAM.

This has led to speculation that Nothing may be shifting its focus back to the mid-range market with the Phone (3). The previous model, the Phone (2), was a flagship device featuring the powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

However, it’s possible that the Geekbench listing represents a base model of the Phone (3) series. Previous rumors have suggested that Nothing is working on two distinct Phone (3) models, with the “Pro” variant potentially offering a more powerful chipset and upgraded features.

The Geekbench listing also confirms that the Phone (3) will run on Android 15 with Nothing’s custom NothingOS 3.0 skin. Other rumored specifications include a 6.5-inch display for the base model and a larger 6.7-inch display for the Pro variant.

While initial rumors hinted at the possibility of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 powering the Phone (3), the Geekbench results suggest a different strategy. It remains to be seen how Nothing will position its upcoming smartphone and whether it will return to its mid-range roots or continue to compete in the flagship segment.
