Ahead of its official debut on July 1, Nothing’s upcoming over-ear headphones—aptly named Headphone (1)—have surfaced in a set of live images. These leaks offer the first clear look at the company’s newest hardware, which will be launching alongside the Phone (3).

Staying consistent with the brand’s established aesthetic, Headphone (1) features prominent transparent elements on the ear cups, paired with visible internal components and subtle Nothing branding. According to the images, the headphones will be offered in both black and white colorways. The ear cup construction appears to include a metal base paired with a plastic upper section, which carries a design somewhat reminiscent of a cassette tape—underscoring Nothing’s retro-futuristic styling cues.

While many modern over-ear headphones are going fully wireless, one image confirms support for wired playback via a 3.5mm audio jack. This addition may appeal to users who prioritize sound fidelity or need a fallback when battery life runs out. The headphones also feature three physical buttons: two on the side and one on the outer ear cup, though their exact functionality remains unspecified.
A closer look at the headband suggests that the headphones won’t fold, potentially prioritizing structural rigidity over portability. Nothing has already confirmed that the Headphone (1) was developed in collaboration with British hi-fi manufacturer KEF, a detail that raises expectations around audio quality.

Though no technical specifications have been confirmed, the product is rumored to carry a retail price of around $309. With the company’s emphasis on design transparency and now a potential leap into premium audio territory, Headphone (1) is shaping up to be a notable entry in the wireless headphone market—if the final product lives up to its early impressions.
