Nothing has released a new update for Essential Space, its AI-powered hub, focused on making content easier to share across devices and platforms. The update is available for Nothing Phone (3), Phone (3a), and Phone (3a) Pro models and expands how users can distribute both audio and visual content created or stored within the app.
One of the key improvements involves the “Flip-to-Record” feature, which lets users start capturing audio simply by flipping the phone. Recordings made this way can now be shared in multiple formats, including as an image, a PDF, or a Markdown file, giving users more flexibility in how they save and send audio transcripts.
The update also brings expanded sharing options for Memories — the collection of images and screenshots stored in Essential Space. These can now be exported in the same range of formats, allowing for easier integration into documents, presentations, or collaborative projects without requiring additional conversion tools.
As with previous Essential Space updates, the rollout is happening through the Google Play Store. Users who haven’t yet received the new features can check for the latest version of the app to enable the changes.
The upgrade reflects Nothing’s ongoing effort to position Essential Space as more than just a content storage hub, instead offering tools that make recorded moments and visual assets more portable and usable in different contexts. While this update focuses on shareability, it also hints at the company’s broader push to make its AI-assisted ecosystem more versatile for both personal and professional use.
