Nothing has introduced its latest flagship true wireless earbuds, the Ear (3), bringing design changes, upgraded call quality, and longer battery life to its growing audio lineup. The new model will be available starting September 25 in white and black, priced at $179/€179.
The Ear (3) is the first in the series to incorporate metal elements, with the charging case now featuring aluminum alongside Nothing’s trademark transparent aesthetic. The case also debuts a “Super Mic” system: a dual-microphone setup designed to improve call clarity. Activated by a dedicated Talk button, the feature is capable of cutting up to 95 dB of background noise and can also be used to record voice notes directly through iOS and Android memo apps.

Each earbud carries its own three-mic array paired with bone-conduction voice pickup, further strengthening call performance. For everyday listening, the Ear (3) supports real-time adaptive active noise cancellation of up to 45 dB. The earbuds are powered by 12mm dynamic drivers tuned for stronger bass response and a broader soundstage, and they support AAC, SBC, and LDAC codecs, as well as static Spatial Audio. Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 5.4, with dual-device connection available.

Other features include in-ear detection, a low-latency gaming mode, Hi-Res certification, and IP54 resistance for both the earbuds and the case. Battery life is another area of improvement: the earbuds carry a 55mAh cell rated for 5.5 hours with ANC on or 10 hours with it off, while the 500mAh case provides an additional 38 hours. The case supports both fast charging and wireless charging.
With the Ear (3), Nothing is doubling down on its design-led approach while making meaningful improvements in usability and audio performance. By introducing hardware features like the Super Mic alongside better drivers and stronger ANC, the company appears intent on pushing beyond style and positioning itself as a serious competitor in the premium earbud segment.
