ESR, a popular case maker, has listed new designs on Amazon for a 2024 iPad Air and 2024 iPad Pro, both in 13-inch sizes. This strengthens rumors of an imminent launch for these updated tablets.
iPad Air 6 Clues
ESR’s iPad Air case comes in blue and offers a versatile three-part design for both protection and stand functionality. Interestingly, it supports the Apple Pencil 2, but not the rumored Apple Pencil 3.
iPad Pro Hints
The ESR iPad Pro case is black and sports a similar stand design. Photos suggest the camera layout remains unchanged from the previous generation, contradicting some rumors about a repositioned camera module. Cases are available in “Rebound” and see-through “Rebound 360” styles.
What Does It Mean?
ESR’s listings could indicate inside knowledge of the upcoming iPads, OR (and this is more likely) the case maker is simply gambling on the strong rumors to boost early sales.

This year’s iPad Air 6 and OLED iPad Pro are expected to share similar dimensions. However, the Pro should have slimmer bezels and an overall thinner profile thanks to its OLED display. Internally, the iPad Air 6 is rumored to get an M2 chip upgrade, while the iPad Pro may debut the new M3 chip (the M4 is likely further away).
