Netflix brings new features to its Premium Plan subscribers

GEEK DESK

Netflix has announced new features at no additional cost for members who are on the Premium plan:

(1) spatial audio will be available on the top 700 titles

(2) increasing the number of download devices from 4 to 6

Both features are now available and come at no additional cost to members on the Premium plan, and require no additional special equipment.

Netflix Spatial Audio

Netflix spatial audio brings an immersive, cinematic sound experience on any device with no additional equipment required — and now it’s available on more than 700 of our top watched titles, including Stranger Things, The Watcher, Wednesday, and Knives Out: Glass Onion.

Ready to hear the difference yourself? log into your Netflix account and look for a new spatial audio badge on shows and movies. To see the full list of titles with spatial audio, just type “spatial audio” into the search bar on Netflix.

Netflix will also be adding spatial audio to popular new titles as they’re released, including “You,” “Your Place or Mine,” “Luther: The Fallen Sun,” and “Tour de France.”

Spatial audio joins other Netflix features like 4K, HDR, Dolby Atmos®, and Netflix Calibrated Mode.

More Download Devices

Netflix is also increasing the number of download devices from four to six for premium members, so you can watch Netflix on your devices — anytime, anywhere.
