Mophie has introduced a new lineup of Juice Pack charging cases built for Apple’s latest iPhones, including the iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The updated cases combine battery backup with added device protection, maintaining Mophie’s long-standing role in the mobile accessories market while adapting to Apple’s most recent designs.
The Juice Pack for the iPhone Air focuses on maintaining the device’s lightweight form. At 15mm thick, it is the slimmest model in the lineup and features a 2,400mAh battery—enough, according to Mophie, to extend usage by up to 60 percent. The versions made for the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max offer larger batteries of 3,000mAh and 3,600mAh respectively, providing roughly 50 percent additional battery life. Each case weighs 98 grams, aiming to balance portability with practical endurance gains.
Beyond power, the new Juice Pack designs also function as protective shells. The cases feature raised bezels to help prevent screen damage and reinforced corners to absorb impact from drops. A small lanyard port has been added for users who prefer to carry their devices hands-free, reflecting a growing trend in smartphone accessories that blend utility with convenience.
The charging system supports passthrough charging via USB-C, meaning users can plug in once to recharge both their iPhone and the Juice Pack sequentially—the phone first, then the case. The cases also support passthrough USB-C audio, allowing continued use of wired headphones without removing the case.
Each model in the Juice Pack series is priced at $99.99 and is now available directly from Mophie’s website. While the new lineup doesn’t attempt to reinvent the concept of battery cases, it reinforces Mophie’s niche as one of the few established third-party accessory makers offering integrated power and protection for Apple’s latest hardware.
