Meta is upping its artificial intelligence game, and has announced new AI features coming to its apps and services over the next few months.
Meta announced AI stickers, powered by Llama 2, as well as its new image generation model Emu. These stickers work by reading the users’ text prompt, which will be turned into multiple stickers. These stickers will be available in WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, and Facebook Stories, and will be rolling out over the next month.

Meta also announced two new AI Instagram editing features, Restyle and Backdrop. With Restyle, you can ask the AI to add effects to your image.

With Backdrop, you can ask the AI to change the background of the photo. The AI will remove the original background and replace it with a generated one based on your request.

There’s a new AI assistant which works just like ChatGPT or Google Bard, which will generate answers to your queries, and can access updated information in partnership with Bing.

Meta has gone all out with this one, the company is deploying more than 28 different AI chatbots on WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram which include celebrities.
Here are some of the celebrities Meta has partnered with:
- Kendall Jenner as Billie, a no-BS, ride-or-die companion

- Paris Hilton as Amber, your detective partner for solving whodunnits
- Snoop Dogg as Dungeon Master, with whom you can choose your own adventures
