Logitech has expanded its professional audio lineup with the launch of the Zone Wireless 2 ES and Zone Wired 2 headsets — a pair of productivity-focused devices built to combat distractions in today’s noisy open offices. Unveiled at GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai, the new models combine AI-driven noise suppression, adaptive hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC), and ergonomic design inspired by gaming headsets, all aimed at improving focus and comfort throughout the workday.
As hybrid and in-office work models return, noise remains one of the most significant barriers to productivity. Logitech CEO Hanneke Faber emphasized this point during the launch, noting that “uninterrupted focus is the new currency of work.” According to studies cited by the company, workplace distractions contribute to an estimated $468 billion in lost productivity globally — a figure Logitech hopes to address with its latest Zone headsets.
Both the wireless and wired versions feature adaptive hybrid ANC that automatically adjusts to changing environments, reducing ambient noise without user intervention. Two AI-powered microphones work in tandem to eliminate background chatter, typing sounds, and other common office distractions. The result is clearer calls and uninterrupted concentration, whether users are taking meetings or working independently.
The Zone Wireless 2 ES supports full certification for major collaboration platforms including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet. Native Bluetooth call control ensures smooth switching between devices, while an optional USB receiver provides stable connectivity in congested environments. Smart enumeration hides inactive devices when the headset is powered off, preventing confusion over audio sources — a small but practical detail for busy professionals.
For offices that prefer wired connections, the Zone Wired 2 delivers the same suite of audio features and certifications in a USB plug-and-play form factor. It removes concerns about battery life and signal interference, making it ideal for high-density or IT-managed environments. Both versions can receive remote firmware updates via Logitech Sync, allowing IT teams to push updates silently without disrupting employees or prompting manual restarts.
Design-wise, Logitech borrowed elements from gaming headsets, such as a pressure-balanced headband, rotating earcups, and a reversible mic boom. The wireless model provides up to 20 hours of talk time and 25 hours of listening with ANC enabled, making it suitable for extended work sessions. Users can further customize their experience through the Logi Tune app, adjusting ANC levels, EQ settings, and power preferences.
Sustainability also plays a central role in the new lineup. Each headset uses at least 30% post-consumer recycled plastic, while magnets are made from 100% recycled rare-earth metals, the battery contains recycled cobalt, and the travel case is constructed from fully recycled fabrics. Replaceable earpads, headbands, and batteries further extend product life and reduce waste.
Available in graphite, rose, and off-white finishes, the Zone Wireless 2 ES for Business will launch globally in November, followed by the Zone Wired 2 in December. Both models reinforce Logitech’s growing focus on workplace well-being and sustainable design, positioning the company as a key player in the evolving landscape of hybrid productivity tools.
