LG has launched the OLED evo G5 in the Gulf, positioning the new model as its most advanced OLED television to date. The G5 combines LG’s latest display technologies with a minimalist design, aiming to appeal to both cinephiles and gamers, as well as customers looking for a statement piece in their living spaces.
Central to the G5 is LG’s α11 AI Processor 4K Gen2, which enhances clarity, color accuracy, and detail by analyzing and optimizing each of the TV’s 8.3 million self-lit pixels in real time. This is paired with Brightness Booster Max, allowing the G5 to achieve up to three times the brightness of standard OLED panels, making it adaptable to different viewing environments—from dimly lit rooms to brightly sunlit spaces.
The TV continues LG’s emphasis on OLED picture quality, delivering deep blacks, vivid colors, and over 99% color consistency at brightness levels up to 500 lux. This translates into high contrast and lifelike reproduction across movies, series, sports, and games.
For gamers, the OLED evo G5 introduces support for refresh rates of up to 165Hz, along with ultra-low input lag and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate). These features aim to eliminate tearing and stutter while maximizing responsiveness, aligning the G5 with the demands of competitive play and next-generation consoles.
Design is another focal point. The G5 has an ultra-slim profile and LG’s Gallery Design, which allows the TV to mount flush to the wall, doubling as a digital art display when not in use. Narrow bezels and a near-borderless screen help focus attention entirely on the content.
Beyond hardware, the G5 integrates AI-driven personalization features. With AI Concierge, AI Picture Pro, and AI Voice ID, the system can recommend content, adapt settings to individual viewing preferences, and fine-tune both picture and sound dynamically.
The OLED evo G5 builds on LG’s established OLED line while introducing incremental improvements in performance and usability. By combining higher brightness levels, enhanced AI features, and gamer-focused specifications, LG is positioning the G5 as a premium upgrade for those seeking both performance and design sophistication in a television.
