LG has launched the AeroHit air purifier in the UAE, a smaller and more space-efficient addition to its 360° Air Purifier lineup. The new model, GP1, trims its footprint by more than half compared to LG’s 343mm-diameter units, measuring 240mm across. It is designed with compact living spaces in mind, particularly apartments and smaller rooms where floor space is limited.
Despite its slimmer build, the AeroHit carries over LG’s signature 360° air circulation system, which draws in and distributes filtered air in all directions. The purifier uses a HEPA 13 multi-layer filter capable of capturing ultrafine particles as small as 0.01 microns. LG claims the antimicrobial treatment can remove up to 99.9% of viruses and bacteria, while its Total Dust Collection & Allergy Care filter is rated to trap 99.999% of allergens and fine dust.
Air quality monitoring is built-in through a PM1 sensor, which detects particulate levels and relays them via a status indicator for quick visual feedback. For upkeep, LG has bundled the dust and deodorizing elements into a single replaceable filter module to simplify maintenance. Connectivity is also part of the package: users can pair the device with the LG ThinQ app for remote monitoring and basic control options.
Visually, the AeroHit adopts a matte finish intended to blend into a range of interiors, but the emphasis is on functionality. It brings the same purification approach found in LG’s larger systems to a form factor that suits urban homes with tighter layouts.
The AeroHit is available now across the UAE through LG’s retail partners and online channels, giving consumers a more compact option within the company’s air care portfolio.
