Lenovo has quietly introduced a new compact desktop in China under its Lecoo sub-brand, offering users a capable and space-efficient computing solution at an aggressive entry price. The Lecoo Mini Pro, priced at around 2,699 Yuan (approximately $377 USD), brings together modern AMD hardware, thoughtful thermal engineering, and premium build quality, all in a footprint that competes directly with higher-priced mini PCs on the market.
The Lecoo Mini Pro is powered by AMD’s Ryzen 7 8745H processor, a mobile-class chip built on a 4nm process that combines energy efficiency with strong multi-core performance. Paired with integrated Radeon 780M graphics, this setup handles everyday computing needs with ease and can stretch into light creative workloads or casual gaming when needed. While the processor typically operates within a laptop-grade thermal envelope, Lenovo has engineered the Mini Pro to run in a 70W performance mode, enabling higher sustained performance for more demanding tasks.
Designed with a brushed aluminum alloy chassis, the Mini Pro shares some aesthetic cues with Apple’s Mac mini but is positioned firmly in the Windows ecosystem. It supports up to 32GB of DDR5 5600MHz memory and features dual M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots, allowing storage configurations of up to 2TB — a strong spec for a system at this price point.
Thermal management is handled via an active cooling system that includes a “quiet mode,” which reduces fan noise to just 32 decibels, making it well-suited for home offices or shared workspaces. Despite its compact size, the Lecoo Mini Pro doesn’t compromise much on connectivity. It includes two USB 4 ports for high-speed data transfer and supports Wi-Fi 6 for reliable wireless performance.
With an emphasis on affordability and minimal desk space usage, the Lecoo Mini Pro is an appealing option for remote workers, students, and professionals who need a reliable desktop experience without the bulk of a full-sized tower. While currently limited to the Chinese market, its price-to-performance ratio may generate interest in international markets if Lenovo chooses to expand its availability.
Whether used for daily productivity, media consumption, or as part of a clutter-free workstation, the Lecoo Mini Pro demonstrates that compact PCs no longer have to compromise on core specs or thermal headroom — especially at under $400.
