Ahead of Samsung’s official Unpacked event on July 9, high-quality renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 have surfaced, courtesy of well-known leaker Evan Blass, offering a comprehensive look at the upcoming foldable flagship. The device, seen in Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow, and Jet Black, maintains the familiar book-style design while introducing a sleeker profile and subtly refined hardware.
Visually, the Z Fold 7 continues Samsung’s trend of minimalism and symmetry. The device appears thinner than its predecessor, likely benefiting from a more compact hinge design, even as it houses a sizable 4,400mAh battery. The rear camera module remains pronounced, comprising a triple-lens setup that echoes the Z Fold 6 but could see notable upgrades under the hood. Despite the flashy promotional angles, this is a refined iteration rather than a radical redesign.
Samsung is expected to offer the Z Fold 7 in a new Green Mint color as an online exclusive, alongside the three core variants shown in these leaks. While it remains to be seen whether any of the previous generation’s finishes like Pink or White will make a return, the new color palette seems aimed at balancing sophistication and broad appeal.
Spec-wise, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will likely run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset across global markets, paired with 12GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB. The foldable features an 8.2-inch inner AMOLED display and a 6.5-inch cover screen, both offering 120Hz refresh rates. Cameras include a 200MP primary sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide, complemented by a 10MP front camera on the cover display and a 4MP under-display sensor inside.

Running Android 16 with One UI 8, the Z Fold 7 incorporates an IP48 rating and stylus support. The build is reinforced by an Armor Aluminum frame, and early leaks suggest slightly larger overall dimensions with a notably thinner unfolded profile at 4.5mm, compared to the Z Fold 6’s 5.6mm.
While not all specifications have been officially confirmed, the expected improvements hint at a device designed to refine the user experience without veering too far from its predecessor’s foundation. Whether Samsung addresses other pain points like slow charging speeds or enhances durability remains to be seen, but the Z Fold 7 appears poised to maintain its lead in the foldable market—for now.
