Kuwait City meets Cyberpunk 2077 in stunning fan-made visual mashup powered by RTX tech

What happens when a modern Middle Eastern capital collides with the gritty, neon-drenched aesthetic of Cyberpunk 2077? Two Kuwaiti creatives—gaming influencer Khaled Al-Mutairi, known online as “Gamer Snack,” and filmmaker Mohamed Al-Roz—set out to answer that question by merging the streets of Kuwait City with the futuristic chaos of Night City. The result is a surreal, visually striking fusion that blurs the boundaries between real and virtual.

Using NVIDIA’s latest GeForce RTX 50 GPUs, the duo crafted a video project that juxtaposes real-world footage with in-game sequences rendered in 4K using Full Ray Tracing and DLSS 4. Mohamed Al-Roz captured shots of Kuwait City’s urban sprawl, which were then digitally reimagined with glowing signage and saturated neon hues reminiscent of a cyberpunk skyline. These real-world edits were woven together with gameplay footage recorded by Gamer Snack, highlighting the technical capabilities of DLSS 4’s Multi Frame Generation and NVIDIA’s advanced ray tracing features.

The final product is more than just a visual mashup—it’s a kind of speculative window into how familiar landscapes might look if reimagined through the lens of science fiction. With RTX 50 GPUs handling both the gameplay rendering and the post-production process, the creators were able to maintain high visual fidelity while navigating heavy processing tasks across Adobe Creative Suite, powered by the NVIDIA Studio platform.

“The project isn’t just about visuals—it’s about emotion,” said Al-Roz. “When I film, I’m less interested in the shape of a place than in the feeling it evokes. The cyberpunk aesthetic lets us look at something familiar in a completely different light.”

Gamer Snack echoed that sentiment: “Cyberpunk 2077 offers a lens into a futuristic version of reality, and when powered by technologies like DLSS 4 and ray tracing, it becomes breathtakingly immersive.”

The initiative also functions as a subtle showcase for how real-time rendering and content creation continue to converge. While once the domain of separate workflows, the distinction between gaming and filmmaking is now increasingly fluid, thanks in large part to hardware advances like NVIDIA’s RTX 50 series. The project hints at how such tools could shape digital storytelling—not just in blockbuster games, but in community-driven media and regional reinterpretations of global franchises.

The GeForce RTX 50 series is currently available in Kuwait through Quadra Stores, offered in various configurations for gaming desktops, laptops, and creative workstations. Whether this is a one-off artistic experiment or the beginning of a larger creative trend remains to be seen—but it certainly makes a case for seeing our cities not just as they are, but as they could look in a parallel digital future.
