iPhone 17 UAE launch day: what to expect when collecting your pre-order

The wait is almost over. On Friday, September 19, from 8 a.m., Apple will officially launch the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max across all Apple Stores in the UAE. Customers from Abu Dhabi to Sharjah will be able to take part in the celebration, with new iPhones available for pickup at Apple Yas Mall, Apple Al Maryah Island, Apple Mall of the Emirates, and Apple Sharjah. And of course, the spotlight will shine brightest on Apple Dubai Mall, the country’s flagship store, which has become the iconic stage for Apple’s biggest moments.

This year, Apple is taking a different approach to iPhone availability in the UAE. Instead of the traditional long queues and first-come, first-served rush, the company is requiring customers to pre-order their device at apple.com and select “Pick up in store” at checkout. This ensures that every customer who arrives on launch day has a guaranteed device waiting for them, while making the process faster, smoother, and less stressful.

For those who secured a pre-order, September 19 will be all about the thrill of finally collecting the iPhone 17 lineup in person. Doors will open early, giving customers a dedicated window to pick up their new devices before the mall gets busy. Whether you’re drawn to the slim and stylish iPhone 17 Air, or eyeing the powerhouse features of the iPhone 17 Pro Max, the moment of unboxing your pre-ordered iPhone on launch day will carry that unmistakable sense of being part of the first wave of customers in the country.

While Dubai Mall will once again attract the biggest crowds and international attention, the excitement is not limited to one location. Customers at Yas Mall and Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi, Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, and Sharjah can look forward to the same early-morning celebration as they pick up their devices. The unified launch across all Apple Stores makes this a truly national event for iPhone fans.

So if you’ve placed your order, get ready. On September 19, across every Apple Store in the UAE, the iPhone 17 family will finally be in your hands.

See you there!
