Interview Go brings flexibility to RØDE’S wireless microphone range

RØDE’s Interview GO, is a handheld adaptor designed to transform any Wireless GO or other RØDE Series IV transmitter into a portable interview microphone. The device aims to simplify field recording by providing a comfortable, professional-grade handheld option for journalists, content creators, and presenters who already use RØDE’s wireless systems.

The adaptor consists of a sturdy handle and a removable windshield to reduce unwanted noise from wind or speech plosives. Its ergonomic shape makes it suitable for on-the-go use, whether during street interviews, quick event coverage, or spontaneous podcast sessions. The included popshield and foam windshield further enhance voice clarity by minimizing interference from environmental sounds.

The Interview GO is compatible with a wide range of RØDE products, including the Wireless PRO, Wireless GO (Gen 3), Wireless ME, Wireless GO II, and the original Wireless GO. However, users should note that the adaptor does not include a wireless transmitter—those must be purchased separately.

While the black version maintains a classic, understated look suitable for professional settings, RØDE also offers the accessory in several bright color variants such as red, pink, blue, orange, purple, green, and white. This allows users to match their gear to their personal style or brand aesthetic while keeping functionality intact.

In practical terms, the Interview GO’s appeal lies in its simplicity: attach the compatible transmitter to the handle, fit the windshield, and the setup is ready for recording high-quality wireless audio. The adaptor’s design reflects a focus on portability and ease of use, making it a convenient tool for reporters, social media creators, and anyone needing reliable handheld audio capture without bulky equipment.
