Huawei unveils Pura 80 Pro+ design ahead of June 11 launch

Huawei has officially revealed the design of its upcoming Pura 80 Pro+, offering a first look at what’s in store ahead of the device’s June 11 debut in China. This latest addition to Huawei’s flagship lineup continues the design language introduced with the Pura 70 series, most notably retaining the triangular camera island while introducing a few visual refinements.

The Pura 80 Pro+ features a triple-lens setup housed within the familiar triangular module. Based on early visuals, the configuration includes a periscope-style telephoto sensor, flanked by two additional cameras. One noticeable update is the textured pattern inside the camera island, a subtle shift in aesthetics that helps distinguish the new generation. The LED flash is now centered between the sensors, offering a more symmetrical layout compared to previous models.

Huawei is also branching out with more vibrant color options this year. The product imagery showcases a bold red variant, a departure from the more muted tones of past flagships. Both the Pura 80 Pro and Pro+ models are expected to feature curved edges and aluminum frames, continuing the brand’s premium build tradition.

In the lead-up to launch, Huawei has opened pre-reservations for the Pura 80 Pro and Pro+ on its official Vmall platform. As of now, over 60,000 users have already registered their interest, signaling strong demand within the Chinese market.

The Pura 80 series is expected to run HarmonyOS and will likely include Huawei’s latest in-house hardware and imaging technologies. While full specifications remain under wraps until launch day, the official design reveal underscores Huawei’s intent to blend premium aesthetics with high-performance imaging once again.
