HTC has sparked excitement among fans with a cryptic teaser on their Facebook page, hinting at the launch of a new phone on June 12th. The teaser offers only a glimpse of the device’s side profile, leaving details about its design and features under wraps.
This news comes after rumors swirled in April when the unannounced HTC U24 Pro appeared on the Google Play Console. Could this be the phone HTC is preparing to unveil next week?
The Google Play Console listing for the U24 Pro revealed some intriguing specifications. The phone is expected to boast a sharp 1080×2436 resolution display and run the latest Android 14 operating system right out of the box. Under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM is rumored to provide smooth performance. Bluetooth 5.3 support is also on the table.

With the HTC U23 Pro launching in May of last year, the time is ripe for an upgrade. HTC has consistently delivered new iterations in the U series, even amidst a more limited overall device launch strategy. While availability of the U series has historically been restricted to select markets, fans around the world will be watching closely to see what the U24 Pro has to offer.
Stay tuned on June 12th for the official reveal of HTC’s latest smartphone!
