Chengdu All Gamers (AG) have claimed the championship title at the 2025 King Pro League (KPL) Grand Finals, held at Beijing’s National Stadium — better known as the Bird’s Nest — in one of the most ambitious esports events ever staged in China. The win cements AG’s dominance in mobile esports following consecutive victories in both the Spring and Summer seasons.
The Grand Finals drew a live audience of 62,196 fans, marking an attempt to secure the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the largest attendance at an esports match. The event featured a 7,000-square-meter panoramic LED display and a 128-meter-long stage — the largest setup ever for a mobile esports event. With a total prize pool of 70 million RMB (approximately USD 9.8 million), AG took home 20 million RMB (USD 2.8 million) after defeating Wolves Esports 4–2 in a best-of-seven final. AG’s Yinuo earned the FMVP (Finals Most Valuable Player) title and received exclusive in-game rewards, including a personalized skin and champion avatar frame.
The KPL has become one of the most-watched esports leagues in the world, attracting over 250 million unique viewers in 2025. Its 18 city-based teams have turned it into a cultural touchstone for a generation of mobile gamers, with a growing international audience that continues to drive Honor of Kings’ global reach.
With the KPL season concluded, attention now shifts to the 2025 Honor of Kings International Championship (KIC2025), which will take place in Manila, Philippines, from November 14 to 30. Featuring 16 teams from around the world and a prize pool of USD 1 million, the competition will unfold across two venues — the Shooting Gallery and Ayala Malls Manila Bay. Teams from Southeast Asia, Brazil, and global qualifiers will compete, including organizations such as Blacklist International, Nova Esports, Bigetron by Vitality, Nongshim RedForce, and OG Esports. The winning team will also receive an exclusive FMVP skin, continuing the tradition of celebrating champions in-game.
Adding to the momentum, Honor of Kings recently won the Trailblazer Award at the 2025 Green Game Jam Awards in London. The award, part of the United Nations–backed Playing for the Planet initiative, recognized the game’s creative approach to sustainability and environmental storytelling, integrating themes of nature and conservation directly into gameplay.
Developed by TiMi Studio Group and published under Tencent’s Level Infinite brand, Honor of Kings remains one of the world’s most popular mobile games, with over 200 million registered users and 100 million daily active players. Its success has built a thriving global esports ecosystem that bridges casual play and professional competition.
As Chengdu AG celebrates its KPL triumph and the international championship begins in Manila, the Honor of Kings esports circuit continues to expand its global influence, showcasing how mobile gaming has evolved into a powerful cultural and competitive force connecting players across continents.
